Logan County came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Ohio County Eagles 11-1. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Logan County let Brady Hinton and Tate McLean run wild. Hinton scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while McLean scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave McLean a new career-high. Lyndon Wilson was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Logan County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ohio County only posted a batting average of .000.

Logan County's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Ohio County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
