Baseball Recap: Ferndale Golden Eagles vs. Oak Harbor Wildcats
Ferndale lost to Oak Harbor back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Ferndale walked away with an 8-3 win over Oak Harbor. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.
Fenton Vasak made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
