Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Southwest EC

It's playoff time, and Southwest EC had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Canyon Hills Rattlers on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Alexis Trujillo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Delylah Santiago was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Southwest EC's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Canyon Hills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

As of now, neither Southwest EC nor the Rattlers have any future games scheduled.
