Cascade is 7-2 against Owen Valley since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cadets will challenge the Patriots at 11:00  a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cascade has 12 straight  victories, Owen Valley has seven straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Cascade's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They blew past Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 10-0. Considering the Cadets have won 11 games by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Macey Pugh, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Allen, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cascade  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in 12 consecutive  contests.
 Edgewood hit Owen Valley with a six-run second inning  on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of  8-6.
 Cascade pushed their record up to 18-5 with the  win, which was their 20th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Owen Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
 Everything went Cascade's way against Owen Valley in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, as Cascade made off with  a  9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cadets since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
