Recap: Hot Springs Tigers vs. Socorro Warriors
The Hot Springs Tigers fell victim to the Socorro Warriors''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 55-0. Hot Springs has struggled against Socorro recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Kaidyn Lanham threw for 59 yards on six of 17 attempts. Billy Baca was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.
Isaiah Ocampo went supernova for Socorro, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Chase Boykin, who rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.
Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Socorro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Hot Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Socorro also has no future games currently scheduled.
