Baseball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge lost against Pueblo Central back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northridge Grizzlies came up short against the Pueblo Central Wildcats, falling 18-7. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ruger Lancaster made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Beau Rupp, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pueblo Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Northridge will take on Valley in a tournament on Friday. As for Pueblo Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bend at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
