Softball Recap: Bartlett Falls Short Against Ranked Service

Bartlett faced Service in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Bears came up short against the Cougars, falling 15-7. The Golden Bears have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Tina Tunai made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Khloe Faaaliga was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Service, they moved to 7-10 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Bartlett and Service will both be playing Chugiak the next time they take the field. The Golden Bears will host the Mustangs at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
