Soccer Game Preview: Apalachee vs. Providence Christian Academy

The Apalachee Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Providence Christian Academy Storm at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Apalachee will be strutting in after a victory while Providence Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Apalachee's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Newton with a sharp 5-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Providence Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 4-1 to Walker. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Providence Christian Academy's goal came courtesy of Jennifer Harmon, who's now up to two this season.

The victory got Apalachee back to even at 1-1. As for Providence Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Apalachee skirted past Providence Christian Academy 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Apalachee since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
