Basketball Recap: Gompers Prep Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mountain Empire last Tuesday, Gompers Prep Academy came back down to earth. The Gompers Prep Academy Eagles took a 37-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the High Tech NC Raptor on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Raptor: they've now lost three in a row.

Gompers Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for High Tech NC, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Gompers Prep Academy will host Monarch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for High Tech NC, they will square off against Southern California Yeshiva on Tuesday.
