Basketball Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Clovis has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roswell Coyotes. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyotes earlier this season, when they won 55-38.

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Roswell, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 14-12.

Clovis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roswell, they will head out on the road to face off against Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
