Softball Recap: Richland Comes Up Short

Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Winona Wildcats, falling 24-8. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Winona, their win bumped their record up to 2-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Richland by a score of 24-14 later that day.
