Softball Game Preview: Kearsarge Cougars vs. Prospect Mountain Timberwolves

Kearsarge hasn't had much luck against Prospect Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m.

Kearsarge is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Fall Mountain on Monday, falling 7-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Kearsarge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charley Mae Richard 2028, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Meanwhile, Prospect Mountain had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Red Raiders with a sharp 15-3 win. That looming 15-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Timberwolves yet this season.
