Volleyball Game Preview: Cactus Shadows Falcons vs. Mesquite Wildcats

Cactus Shadows has won three straight games at home, while Mesquite has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Falcons will welcome the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Cactus Shadows made easy work of Marcos de Niza and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mesquite got the win against Eastmark on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Mesquite never let Eastmark on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Mesquite now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Cactus Shadows, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Cactus Shadows came out on top in a nail-biter against Mesquite in their previous matchup last Friday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
