The Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves will face off against the Heritage Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian came up short against Leo on Saturday, falling 16-3. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jacob Jackson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Heritage had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cadets as they made off with an 11-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Iestyn Roe was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other pitching news, Jaxon Feasby looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Beau Stoppenhagen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Rauner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in nine consecutive matches.
Heritage's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian beat Heritage 5-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
