Football Recap: Morgan County Victorious

After only six points in their last matchup, Morgan County made sure to put some points up on the board against Lewis County on Friday. The Cougars walked away with a 34-22 victory over the Lions. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 40-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win got Morgan County back to even at 1-1. As for Lewis County, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Morgan County will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Harlan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewis County, they will head out on the road to take on Nicholas County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
