Soccer Game Preview: Santee vs. Diego Rivera

Santee is 1-7 against Diego Rivera since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Santee Falcons will challenge the Diego Rivera Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Santee will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Santee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Animo Pat Brown by a score of 3-1.

Santee hit Animo Pat Brown with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Daniel Osorto-Flores, Jehovany Alfaro, and Oscar Samuel Cruz.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Diego Rivera). They had just enough and edged out New Designs University Park 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Diego Rivera pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five matchups. As for Santee, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
