Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Jackson Christian's Fourth in Last Five Outings

If North Adams-Jerome wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Jackson Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Rennie Huff. The Jackson Christian Royals blew past the North Adams-Jerome Rams 60-33 on Thursday thanks in part to Huff, who went 10 of 18 on her way to 30 points and six steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Jackson Christian's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Boll, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Jackson Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for North Adams-Jerome, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Coming up, Jackson Christian will square off against St. Philip Catholic Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Adams-Jerome, they will take on Pansophia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
