Soccer Game Preview: Clover Park vs. Franklin Pierce

Clover Park is 2-8 against Franklin Pierce since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m.

Clover Park is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since March 18. They and Steilacoom finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce kept a clean sheet against Washington on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Patriots. Franklin Pierce haven't had any issues with Washington recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Clover Park's draw makes their record 5-2-2 this season. As for Franklin Pierce, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Clover Park skirted past Franklin Pierce 1-0 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
