Football Recap: Saint James Triumphs

After losing to Kiski School the last time they met, Saint James decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cougars 10-7. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 60th in Maryland, while the Cougars are ranked 293rd in Pennsylvania) , the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Saint James' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Saint James' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Kiski School, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Saint James will take on St. Stephen's & St. Agnes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kiski School, they are taking a road trip to challenge Peddie at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
