Softball Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mescalero Apache on Thursday, Pecos came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 16-1 to the Espanola Valley Sundevils on Friday.

Pecos has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Espanola Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Pecos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against McCurdy on the 12th. As for Espanola Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 defeat against St. Michael's on the 12th.
