Softball Recap: Danville Falls Short of Good Hope in the Playoffs

Danville and Good Hope squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Danville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 13-5. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Danville now has a losing record of 19-20. As for Good Hope, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-11-1.

Danville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against West Morgan on the 26th. Hopefully Good Hope paid attention to the Hawks' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Hawks on Monday.
