Basketball Recap: Beaver Local Piles Up the Points Against Brooke

There's no place like home for Beaver Local, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They breezed by the Brooke Bruins to the tune of 57-17 on Thursday. That 40 point margin sets a new team best for the Beavers this season.

Beaver Local's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Brooke, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Beaver Local will be taking part in a tournament against Minerva at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Brooke, they will face off against Oak Glen at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
