Basketball Recap: Stoutland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fordland last Wednesday, Stoutland came back down to earth. The Stoutland Tigers were dealt an 84-57 loss at the hands of the Seymour Tigers on Friday. The match marked Stoutland's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stoutland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Seymour, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Stoutland has already played their next game (against Skyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Seymour will host Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Gainesville likes a good challenge.
