Football Recap: College Park's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 11

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but College Park had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Eisenhower Eagles, posting a 45-6 win. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Camden Hughes was his usual excellent self, throwing for 171 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 37 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, he racked up 159.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Julian Cromartie, who picked up 70 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

College Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jonah Dinh and Marco Beltran. Dinh got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory keeps College Park at an undefeated 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 51.8 points this season. As for Eisenhower, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, College Park is taking a road trip to face off against Cypress Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Hughes and Jimmy Alarcon. Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
