Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bolles walked away with it. They strolled past the Rutherford Rams with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-38. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won 14 matchups in a row.

Bolles' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evie Freeman led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Terrell McCoy, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 13 points and eight boards.

Bolles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

Bolles' win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Rutherford, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-4.

Coming up, Bolles will challenge Somerset Academy - Canyons at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Somerset Academy - Canyons' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. Rutherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
