Basketball Game Preview: Faith Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat

The Faith Christian Academy Conquerors will face off against the Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Faith Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Friday, Faith Christian Academy took their match with ease, bagging a 63-35 win over Gramercy Christian. The Conquerors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Andrew Kelly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 for 11 en route to 23 points. Another player making a difference was Ibn Triplin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Goldsboro HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Southeastern HomeSchool, falling 81-50. While losing is never fun, the Heat can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Cardinals are ranked 90th).

Faith Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
