Basketball Game Preview: Madison Patriots vs. West Davidson Dragons

The Madison Patriots and the West Davidson Dragons will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Madison and six for West Davidson.

Madison is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Ledford on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Madison lost 44-21 to Ledford. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Davidson lost to Robinson on the road by a 62-43 margin on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 174th).

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
