Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield lost against Quincy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Senators fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Springfield still got an impressive performance from Ainsley Lambert, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Quincy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kristin Damon, who had 11 assists.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Quincy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

Springfield has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Camp Point Central on the 11th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hartsburg-Emden on the 11th.
