Football Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chaparral extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They were outmatched by the Rock Canyon Jaguars and fell 52-15. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Jaguars are ranked 25th).

As for Rock Canyon, their record is now 1-0. They have beaten Chaparral the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Chaparral has come to flipping the script.

Noah Jadd had a dynamite game, rushing for 64 yards and three TDs. Mason Mills was in the mix as well, providing Rock Canyon with two touchdowns.

Coming up, Chaparral will welcome Castle View at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rock Canyon, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
