Volleyball Game Preview: Olentangy Berlin Bears vs. St. Xavier Bombers

Olentangy Berlin is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while St. Xavier is on an eight-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. Olentangy Berlin will welcome St. Xavier at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Olentangy Berlin earned a 3-1 win over Hilliard Davidson. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Hilliard Davidson scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 16-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, St. Xavier made easy work of La Salle on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
