Volleyball Recap: West Anchorage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Anchorage extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 8-24-2. They lost 3-0 to the Service Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

As for Service, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9-3 record this season. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Service can attribute much of their success to Jaelyn Lorenzo, who had ten digs and one assist. Grace Gastrock also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Looking ahead, West Anchorage will take on Dimond at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Service, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 15th.
