Basketball Recap: Shoshone Comes Up Short

Shoshone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Glenns Ferry Pilots, falling 37-14. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Maddie Spriggs, who posted 14 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeidy Reynaga, who put up nine points.

Shoshone's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Glenns Ferry, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Shoshone will welcome Hagerman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenns Ferry, they will venture away from home to take on Oakley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oakley will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Glenns Ferry surely won't give up without a fight.
