Baseball Recap: Atlantis Takes a Loss

After flying high against Neighborhood House Charter on Wednesday, Atlantis came back down to earth. Atlantis lost 15-0 to the Westport Wildcats on Thursday. Atlantis hasn't had much luck with Westport recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Atlantis' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Westport, they pushed their record up to 11-4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Atlantis will square off against Cape Cod RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westport, they will face off against Winchester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red & Black have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
