Basketball Recap: Seacrest Country Day Skates Past Cambridge Christian with Ease

Seacrest Country Day had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Cambridge Christian Lancers 62-10. Given the Stingrays' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Lancers are ranked 429th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Seacrest Country Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points over those games. As for Cambridge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

As of now, neither Seacrest Country Day nor Cambridge Christian have any future games scheduled.
