Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Curtis). They took down the Spanaway Lake Sentinels 80-61 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on six straight.

Despite the loss, Spanaway Lake still got an impressive performance from Darius Alexander, who went 9 of 17 en route to 27 points. The contest was Alexander's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sean Rector, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points.

Curtis now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Spanaway Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Curtis will host Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Emerald Ridge will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Curtis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spanaway Lake, they will face off against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Spanaway Lake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
