It was a good run, but Dodd City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Leonard Tigers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Dodd City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Leonard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Dodd City will be taking part in a tournament against Tom Bean at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Leonard, they will square off against Trinity Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
