Basketball Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 58-37 to the Centennial Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 46-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Centennial, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-13.

Seguin will head out to square off against Cleburne at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will be playing at home against Everman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
