Chalmette gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over the John Ehret Patriots. The Owls pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had little chance of recovering from.

Leading Chalmette to victory were Breez Wilson and Marion White. Wilson rushed for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, while White rushed for 99 yards and one score on only eight carries.

This is the second loss in a row for John Ehret and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Chalmette will welcome Lakeshore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for John Ehret, they are taking a road trip to take on Vandebilt Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
