Strong Rock Christian has gone 6-1 against Pike County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Strong Rock Christian Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pike County Pirates at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Strong Rock Christian and 14 for Pike County.

Last Tuesday, Strong Rock Christian came up short against Brookstone and fell 52-41.

Meanwhile, Pike County played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Westside 67-39. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 560th, while the Seminoles are ranked 201st).

Strong Rock Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Pike County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Strong Rock Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Pike County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 70-63. Will Strong Rock Christian repeat their success, or does Pike County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
