Softball Game Preview: Central Valley Christian Cavaliers vs. Immanuel Eagles

Central Valley Christian is 2-8 against Immanuel since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Central Valley Christian has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central Valley Christian is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Friday. They fell 13-9 to Washington Union.

Meanwhile, Immanuel narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Sierra Pacific 7-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Addison Efird was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Emma Watson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Immanuel's win bumped their record up to 11-5-2. As for Central Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Central Valley Christian might still be hurting after the 14-1 loss they got from Immanuel in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
