Softball Recap: Tecumseh Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tecumseh extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 12-8 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lincoln Railsplitters a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 two weeks ago.

As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Lincoln's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Autumn Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Coming up, Tecumseh is taking a road trip to take on Blissfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Flat Rock at 4:30 p.m. The Railsplitters' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
