Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lincoln Patriots, falling 71-47. The Rough Riders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
