Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Elkhart Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of LaVille on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the West Noble Chargers on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

While Elkhart Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Ryleigh Viront and Myla Hanlon, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kiara Trovatore and her eight assists. Mia Hibbard controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Elkhart Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Noble, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Elkhart Christian Academy will face off against Goshen HomeSchool at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Noble, they will welcome Lakewood Park Christian on Saturday.
