Soccer Recap: Freedom Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Freedom can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Braden River Pirates on Monday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Wesley Cunningham, who's now up to seven this season.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Braden River, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Braden River, they will challenge Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jesuit will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Braden River surely won't give up without a fight.
