Pinecrest Academy Cadence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions.
Aliyah Kolish made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
On Sierra Vista's side, Charyne Callahan-Koko was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
