Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Academy Takes a Loss

If Chelsea Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Oakcrest last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 3-0 to The Covenant School Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: The Covenant School scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.

With the defeat, Chelsea Academy broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-6. As for The Covenant School, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chelsea Academy will welcome Fredericksburg Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Covenant School, they will host Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
