Basketball Recap: Genesee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Genesee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nezperce Nighthawks. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 57-46 to the Nighthawks when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Slater Kuther had a dynamite game For Nezperce., dropping a double-double with 31 points and 15 boards. Kuther is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Kyler Brinkerhoff was another key player, putting up ten points.

Genesee's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nezperce, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Genesee will welcome Tekoa-Rosalia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nezperce, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clearwater Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
