Baseball Recap: Crowley County Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Crowley County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Hoehne Farmers 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Tanner Kuhn made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kuhn was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with five stolen bases and two runs. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Krew Karney, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack King, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Crowley County's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hoehne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8-1.

Coming up, Crowley County will square off against Peyton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hoehne, they will take on Fowler at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
