Baseball Recap: Fairfield Union's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fairfield Union hadn't done well against Hamilton Township recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 victory over the Rangers. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four games in a row.

Braxton Rowles was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Angelo Galella, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Fairfield Union's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Hamilton Township, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Fairfield Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hamilton Township, they will square off against Marion Harding at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
