            Volleyball Recap: Desert Hills Thunder vs. Crimson Cliffs Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Desert Hills, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs  on Tuesday. The  win was some much needed relief for the Thunder as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 The  victory didn't come easy: Crimson Cliffs scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-20,  26-24.
 Austin Wintle paced Desert Hills' offense, picking up ten kills. Wintle got some help from  James Candland and his 19 assists.  Gerritt Grondel and  Brodie Hoag kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
 Despite the loss, Crimson Cliffs still got an impressive performance from   Colsen Neal, who  had 26  digs and three  aces. Neal has been hot, having  posted 12 or more  digs the last six times he's  played.

Desert Hills now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Crimson Cliffs, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 5-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Hills will welcome Dixie  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will be playing at home against Pine View  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
